Izhar Patkin: The Wandering Veil

A comprehensive survey of the work of the New York-based Israeli artist Izhar Patkin. With a focus on the works of the past decade, this catalog includes Patkin's series of powerful and beautiful "veil" paintings on tulle, inspired by the work of the late Kashmir-American poet, Agha Shahid Ali. The exhibition, which was on view at MASS MoCA in 2014, first traveled to the Tel Aviv Museum, then to The Open Museum, Tefen, and finally to MASS MoCA.
