Each Dri umbrella canopy is made from 100% recycled ocean-bound plastic. Dri umbrella poles are made from stainless steel, with handles made of regenerative bamboo.

Dri provides community members in the countries most impacted by plastic pollution with fair wage jobs to gather plastic from beaches, coastlines, and other waterways. The plastic is taken to a recycling center where it is turned from plastic bottles to plastic flakes. Those flakes are turned into polyester yarn, then sheets of polyester fabric. That fabric is then hand-cut and hand-sewn on to an umbrella frame. That's right - every umbrella is hand sewn. Dri's supply chain creates dozens of jobs, providing financial opportunities for many people living in poverty.
