LP: Amid the Noise Live - Sō Percussion

Recorded live in August 2024 by Sō Percussion and participants from the Sō Percussion Summer Institute at Princeton University, this version of Jason Treuting's Amid the Noise harks back to the original 2006 recording, while also brimming with a sense of unpredictable energy at the hands of the 26 participating fellows of Sō's long-running summer workshop.

Supplemented by Treuting's "Extremes," composed in 2009 and recorded specially for Sō's 25x25 anniversary box set, and "Thank You 4 Listening," another Treuting piece written as a concert closer, Amid the Noise Live is yet another indispensable piece of a creative legacy that is still going strong after 25 years of boundary-stretching music.

Amid the Noise Live collects the music originally released on disc 8 of Sō Percussion's 25x25 box set, resequenced and mastered for vinyl.
