XL Cutting / Serving Board: Maple with Purple Heart Inlay and Handles

Handmade by Tom Baker of Riverview Wood Works in Dalton, MA.

This large maple and purple heart board is a stunner. Dual sided, it has juice grooves on one side for cutting, and the other side is perfectly smooth for serving. Bands of purple heart run through it, creating a contemporary, asymmetrical design. The board measures approximately 21" long and 13.5" wide.

Tom, a long time resident of Dalton, MA, has been interested and involved in woodworking since his teens. His professional background consisted of electrical and civil engineering work. It was in his later years, after retirement, that Tom developed a love for working with wood. Now he prides himself in creating unique one of a kind items from domestic and exotic wood.
